Kerry has opened a new Innovation Centre at Expo City Dubai, aiming to assist food and beverage companies in the region in developing locally tailored products more quickly. The center is designed to reduce development cycles from months to days, enabling companies to convert ideas into market-ready products at an unprecedented pace.
The facility combines trends, consumer insights, and ingredients from Kerry’s global network, leveraging the company’s scientific expertise to support customers from early-stage concepts to commercialization. It focuses on key areas such as taste, proactive health, enzymes, and food preservation, addressing evolving consumer needs in the Middle East and beyond.
Kerry’s proprietary AI tools, including Kalaido for product innovation and Nexus for recipe formulation, are central to this initiative. These tools utilize market data and the expertise of over 1,300 Kerry scientists across 60 technology and innovation centers worldwide, ensuring cutting-edge solutions for customers.
This development highlights Kerry’s ongoing commitment to the UAE, building on its first development center established in Dubai in 2013. The new center expands its services to customers across the Middle East and beyond, reinforcing its position as a leader in food and beverage innovation.
Peter Dillane, President and CEO of Kerry APMEA, stated, “Our customers across the region want products made for local tastes, and they want them fast. With Kerry’s proprietary AI tools such as Kalaido, and our scientists working side by side with local chefs, we can taste, test and refine new ideas right here in Dubai.”
Kerry entered into a long-term lease agreement with Expo City Dubai in 2025, establishing a Regional Customer Co-Creation Centre. This move aligns with its expansion strategy in the Middle East, one of the world’s fastest-growing and most dynamic markets, and shows its dedication to advancing food and beverage innovation globally.
In its financial report, Kerry Group recorded 3.6% volume growth for the first nine months of 2026, maintaining its full-year constant currency adjusted earnings per share (EPS) growth guidance of 6% to 10%. Third-quarter sales volumes rose by 4.1%, driven by strong performance across its global markets, including Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.
