23 Super Satisfying Low

Not enough time, not enough to post, not enough energy as I always like to visit the other Friday bloggers, but 2 doctor visits ate into my time this week. I have been on the low carb ‘lifestyle’ (let’s not call it a diet – it really is for life) since May this year and so far have lost nearly 2 stone. From breakfast to dinner and salmon to margaritas, there is a recipe on this list for everyone. Start by boiling the almond milk and a cup of water along with the cardamom powder.

If you bake this recipe in your oven, rather than grilling over charcoal, I like to put some sliced onions in the bottom of the pan with some olive oil the last half hour of baking and de-glazed the pan brown bits with some water over stove-top burner on low for a nice sauce.

I just decided to take some ground meat, cheese it up with several cheeses (including feta of course), add some typical Greek seasonings and see what resulted. My system seems to ‘fire on all cylinders’, so to speak, when I’m limiting my carb intake. Frustrated with the lack of resources for healthy, low carb meals, I began my own blog.

I love tandoori chicken so much and there are so many recipes out there for the spice blends for it, I never tire of trying new ones! This low carb casserole is super filling, totally easy, and you’re not going to believe it, but it only has 2 net carbs per serving.

This recipe is one of the carbiest on my website and is therefore not suitable until you reach the berry rung of the Atkins Phase 2 OWL carb reintroduction ladder, and it would probably be wise to wait until you are nearly at goal weight for enjoying this one.
