Add the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and malted milk powder to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment (or use a hand-held electric mixer). This is a lovely homemade peppermint chocolate ice cream that is a little lighter and brighter through the use of low fat milk. If you stop for a long break, large ice crystals would form in the coldest part of the mixture.
