The body is kept warm through the circulation of the blood through its vessels. Some of the examples of classes of blood vessels are aorta, veins, capillaries, venules, and arterioles. It is possible to differentiate blood vessels in terms of their sizes and functionality. The largest blood vessel has been known to be the aorta while the smallest one the capillaries.
Blood circulation helps in the distribution of important nutrients in the tissues of the body. It has been known for blood to aid in the removal of the waste substances from the body. Blood plays a role in improving the health of the body. Blood has cells that ensure that the body is healthy at all times. The role of the platelets found in the blood is to aid in the healing process of the injuries. White blood cells makes the body have immunity. Red blood cells help in the transportation of gasses in the body. The body is vulnerable to dehydration. Expect our body to be dehydrated at summer seasons. It is obvious for our body to sweat when doing works such as exercises and businesses. Sweat glands in the skin aid in the removal of sweat and salts by evaporation process. Dehydration can bring detrimental effects to the body such as a headache and brain malfunctioning.
We should always stay in a cool environment when the climate is hot to avoid dehydration cases. There are a few methods we can use to make our body be hydrated especially in summer. It is possible to hydrate our body by taking a lot of water. It is acceptable to take eight glasses of water daily to curb dehydration cases. We can hydrate our body by eating foods that have high water content such as vegetables and fruits. We should avoid taking drinks such as alcohol that dehydrate our body during hot weather periods.
